Using something like
VINwiki to document your car would be helpful when you try to sell it to the next owner. I personally use it as a digital glovebox to illustrate how well I take care of my FR-S (maintenance, washing, repairs, etc.)
I hate that Carfax doesn't allow the car's owner to contribute details or photos to curate their "minor accident" report.
