What about bad gas or is that just another thing of the past as well?
I can't really speak to that. Just never been surprised.

There is one thing that I notice regularly. During a period of steady highway driving I can predictably get tip-in knock by stabbing the throttle after engine braking(fuel cut). I've learned to just ease into the throttle to prevent it. I'm sure there's nothing wrong or special about my car. It's just normal.
