I would not say that tracking has any higher RPMs than the way people drive on back roads.
Do you think that people drive at redline or something?
You typically stay in 3rd or 4th gear, and shift accordingly.

Your four sessions typically last 20 minutes each.

Watch (and hear) the RPM readout in this video.
Does it look any different than what you do on the twisties on any given weekend?
