With my limited experience, driving vehicles on and off the road, for the past 60 some years, it's my understanding, from what I've read, that "tracking" a vehicle, subjects the engine to prolonged high rpms and extreme heat. These two factors alone would accelerate engine wear and stress. Thus an extended warranty my be appropriate.
Although I do get confused about a lot of things, there ain't nutten wrong with my long term memory and I would venture to say I was "hooning, donuts, burnouts, drifting, and other stupid ricer shit" ....... while
your father was still in diapers.
Of course, I told my brother and cousin to get off before I started ......
