Yep, most of the time if something breaks it's better to just upgrade to performance parts. Stuff like this is why I wouldn't buy anything earlier than 2015 so I could still have warranty.

I have an 04 WRX with 120K miles. No warranty and no payments for 9 years. No issues either. Car is stage 2 and a lot faster than my BRZ. So if you buy good cars and maintain them well it pays you back despite expensive car parts.
