I would say with certainty that it wont be near 30K mark.
IF the FT-86 starts getting close to the 30k mark then they will be knocking on the door of the EVO, 370z, Impreza crowd. I know those cars a litttle more than 30k but thinking about it if your paying 29k for a FT-86 why not just add a few thousand and buy a lot more powerful car.
I'm going to say if toyota is trying to some what recreate the AE86 it will probably be 17 to 25k broad range for all the different models. The Sprinter tureno was just a normal sports car back then it wasn't meant to be anything super awesome. The price reflected that back then. So the FT86 to stay true to the same philosophy would have to be priced modest also.
