I last went up this route about 3 months ago on motorcycle and there were still cracks & bumps leftover from the Snowpocalypse. Not sure if it's been fixed.
Also there
are PoPo's in that area; they hide around blind curves (behind trees) so you won't see them ahead. I got pulled over last time
It's gonna be fun road but I don't suggest going all hardcore on it.
Oh! And deers, lots of deers going up towards Larch Mt.
