It is not just about dying, an airbag that even works properly can cause an occupant more injuries than if the car did not have an airbag. It is good you bring up takata, since they are a huge chunk of airbags and no one knows how many broken ones are in cars. There is a good chance any car you are in has a faulty takata airbag. That in itself is enough of an issue for me to want to sell them all off.
What is really amazing is there is absolutely no stats about airbag deaths released for 2007 and after. Sounds like someone is trying to make sure no one can fight the narrative whatsoever.
Anything that is government mandated is pure evil. I'm betting someone is getting massive payments because airbags are mandated.
