How slippery are the PSS tires in the snow, even if I drive like a granny?
....Here in Maryland the weather is unpredictable, one year it snows a lot, others hardly an inch, but the winter only lasts 1-2 months.

I know summer tires are terrible during winter, but i'm wondering how bad. I don't want to switch tires either. Also I don't commute very long.

Will the salt/snow affect the tires grippy compound and cause pre mature wear and cause it to lose the grippy feel?
There are some max performance summer only tires that can function adequately in DRY conditions down to about 40F. Michelins are not generally on that list.

Much below that, with any summer tire, you might as well have shopping cart wheels on there. And trust me, you don't even want to think about even 1/8" of snow.

Isn't that a legal requirement in some provinces?
