No real long distance to speak of. Exactly two trips about 100 miles each at 75-85 mph. I don't use the car for vacation travel.
Just a bunch of short normal driving and that's why I don't understand how I went through them in less than half their life expectancy.

Looking at mine this morning 30k may be optimistic and I'll probably be at the wear bars before 20k but I'll probably stretch them to 20k anyway. I'm at about 10k miles now (was wrong looking back at my records unless I'm triple stupid today) and they appear to be about halfway gone if I measure to the wear bar, 1/3 if you are willing to run them until they're slicks.
Maybe that's the trick, people being cheap and pushing them past the wear bars?
