I don't care what a company has paid other people. I know what I'm worth in my field (and it's around $10k more than I make right now). When I asked what I'd be making when I interviewed for a new job last year (same one mentioned to @
krayzie) they offered me 6k less than what I'm currently making, with no company vehicle and worse benefits, I actually laughed out loud during the interview and then apologized to them for taking up time that could have been better spent on another candidate.
Edit: FWIW I'm a week-long course away from being able to get hired on by any number of big USA companies and make some pretty decent money, and be able to sit behind a desk.
