Any decent fabrication shop can modify it for you. They just have to weld an extension on the dump pipe (usually with a flex pipe) and merge it into the downpipe. It would have been cheaper to buy the kit that way from the start but it's not like you're stuck with it.

Yup, this is exactly right - the wastegate itself is the same, but there's a connection from the exhaust pipe of the wastegate to the downpipe on a recirculated system (using the car's muffler to quiet the system). Dump to atmosphere is basically an unmuffled exhaust/straight pipe on the wastegate if that makes more visual sense.
