Still wouldn't be an issue since the only time you'd be traveling through the dip is in 1st gear where the mechanical torque of the gearing is enough to make it hardly noticeable.
The main issue with the torque dip I see is for daily driving. Where the dip is where most people would shift resulting in the car feeling sluggish and slow. It's amazing how low the amount of people who claim to be "enthusiasts" actually rev a car out.
