? I am not talking about the Miata. In the end, they bring a Dodge Charger Hellcat in the mix. And ... with its 700hp and no torque dip whatsoever, Hellcat was 10 seconds slower than 86 on the same track although it is 3 seconds faster on quarter mile straight line.
To the torque dip complainers: you don't understand what 86 and BRZ are. You simply bought the wrong car. Just go buy a muscle car we will all be happier.
Gong back to the video, they chose Miata in the end. But I would never choose Miata over 86 if it really drives like a river boat seen in this picture, look at the body roll of Miata compared to 86. Goto 15:25 on the video to see the full sequence at that corner.
