I am definitely among those whose shoulders are too wide for the bolsters, which in effect makes me float above much of the backrest.

Could it actually be this simple? I just went out and executed step 1 and I think I feel like I might actually fit *IN* this seat for the first time. I'll have to do a few drives to confirm.
