Since I posted that the ND has pulled ahead of the FRZ86 by about a thousand units this year so it's doing well and on track to sell about 12k units this year (for reference the FR-S sold ~18k units in 2013, BRZ ~8.5k in 2013, and the NC moved ~16k units in 2006). The 86/BRZ will be about 10k units this year if the current trend holds, but early 86 sales were strong at >20k/year for the first three years. The NC only sold ~82k units over 10 years, the first gen BRZ/FR-S sold about 91k units over 5 years, maybe I was counting three model years from 2012-2015, idk why I phrased it that way.
