And for those reason's we want a Toyota FT-86, not a Scion.
If it is a Scion, I will be extremely disappointed if Toyota doesn't change their NASCAR image to that of the FT-86. Because that would show me that Toyota isn't putting their whole heart into this effort. If this is the car they want it to be, they need to go all out. And frankly Scion has never been about "All-Out". That died with the Supra, Celica and MR2.

Anytime I see TRD it's on a pickup truck so that's nothing to write home about. And I can't believe you mentioned Nascar as a credible racing source. This isn't a muscle car in the making this is a corner carver type sport vehicle.
