It's really up to your discretion and driving style. If you feel the need to change the oil, then just go ahead and do so don't get caught up too hard on the technicalities. Most importantly just remember that it is based upon your driving style, regularly seen oil temps, whether the car is used for short distance drives as they put more of a strain on the oil because it's not up to operating temp and whether you are FI or NA.
