I got my 05 Tacoma at $200 above invoice. It's a 4dr double cab, automatic, V6, 4WD, Off Road Package and the Tow Package. The price with tax, DMV fees came out to 32K. Since I only applied for a 30K loan I didn't plan to go over that amount.

You gotta know what you are doing (know what the invoice price is for the car and the packages), stand your ground and know when to walk away. I went directly to LA since none of the San Diego dealerships didn't have the exact one I wanted.

I finally ended up closing the deal at Carson Toyota and signed the check for 28K OTD. I ended up talking to the Fleet Sales manager only b/c I didn't want to deal with the salesman anymore.
