So true. Many of the older cars had the e-brake as a foot pedal, so no good on hills for starting up with MT cars. And hill assist wasn't around ....... so, how did we do it ..... ??

Now days, it seems like every night on the news, it's reported that someone gets the gas and brake pedals mixed up and crashes their vehicle into a store, from a flat, open parking lot ......
