Entirely understandable. Since some manufacturers have released mining specific cards, I think priced will begin to normalize. To be honest, I wanted you to buy my card so that I could go with a 1080 or a Vega, pending availability. The 480 doesn't have quite enough guts to push 1440p above 40fps.

However, on a few games now, I've maxed the settings at 1440 and have been pleasantly surprised. Still get around 30fps, reminds me of consoles, but with way better graphics.
