They're saying about an hour for the prep, and another two hours for drilling and the install, they said that the inner portion of the trunk is "high strength steel", and they have to be super on their toes to drill that. I'm 99% certain this is the extra bracing that has been discussed, so that's good that my car has it and they're willing to do it. It's cool that they gave me a 20% discount because I work at a Subaru, they slotted me in on the 5th which is pay day for me so everything works out.
Their final price after tax and my employment discount is $151.80. I'd say that's decent for a spoiler install, they're also making gaskets so it doesn't leak and offering a lifetime warranty on it so with all that rolled in I'd say I got a good deal. A helluva lot better than $400.
Here's some pictures of my wing, I even laid it out on the car and snapped a couple shots to see how it'll look when it's done.

That looks great on your car! The dark blue and carbon fiber really go well together. And it seems like that's a killer install price. It sounds like they know what they're doing with gaskets and all too. Great to hear they confirmed the reinforced trunk on all 2017s theory. Wish they were in Pennsylvania!
One additional thing you might consider: look at the pictures on the first page of the thread "One piece dash and other 2017 parts". There is a clear plastic circle on the trunk under the center spoiler brace, probably to keep the spoiler from scratching the trunk since the center brace just rests on the lid. I think that brace keeps the thin spoiler from bending in case you close the trunk and held onto the spoiler while doing it. Its a little thing, but I bet it does a world of good in the long run to prevent scratches and rust.
One by one my reasons for holding out on making the big purchase are fading. Now that I know the new spoiler can fit on the 86, I really just might have to take the plunge. The agony of car shopping! If only I weren't so cheap! I look at my old Integra and think, "Maybe just one more year... Screw it the 86 is awesome. But the old girl still runs well...But I can get a great deal right now..." Sigh.
