I agree.
IMHO, most production cars are designed, engineered and built for average driving. So, the twins are sporty cars ...... that doesn't mean they can be tracked extensively and not expected to have certain parts give out and be covered under warranty.
To me, the manufactures warranty is designed to cover manufacturing defects, under normal use, for a certain period of time.
If I spend all day running up and down Pikes Peak and burn up a set of brake pads and warp the rotors ...... I wouldn't expect the manufacturer to replace the rotors under warranty.
If you plan on beating the hell out of your machine on a race track ...... be prepared to fix some stuff at your expense ........
