I like lowering my cars.
been doing it for 21+ years.
slammed 89 civic in high school
springs on a 240sx
T3 style coils on my first AE86
JIC coilovers on S14 silvia (replaced with CST zero 1 due to blown JIC's)
98 Camaro on strano springs and koni yellows
AE86 no.2 with prototype powered by MAX coilovers (ryan litterals old car)
i did drive a 2015 accord sport for a while on stock suspension. just to see if i could.
loved it for all 3 years of the lease. but i was ready for a low coupe with a clutch pedal once again.

and now my FRS has powered by MAX (in sig below)

love lowering my cars. I did peel my front bumper off my S14 once going up a driveway like the vid lol but its worth it IMO (it was ziptied on and already crunched from a track injury). I do get my cars to the track (only exception was the civic) so its not 100% cosmetic. my wife doesn't understand why I have to do it, but I tell her I don't understand why she needs 20 pairs of jeans.

I also took her grand Cherokee at an angle over a speed bump once. i noticed i was doing it, ever since then i don't even slow down.
wheel gap doesn't bother me on that though. i understand that certain cars are for certain things. i actually wouldnt mind having an old Cherokee to go wheeling in.
that said, i don't hate when i see slammed silverados either.
however i can't figure out this whole "donk" thing for the life of me.
but, like somebody else said earlier, "to each their own".

wheel gap on factory cars i understand for the mass market, people will need clearance for common road irregularities, driveways, etc.
i choose to eliminate wheel gap on mine for a few reasons. function, form, and im just used to it.
