So let me tell you guys a story. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2016 audi a3 etron premium plus with tech and performance package for 23k. The title is rebuilt status. I know its says rebuilt but its far from it, the cars fender and mirror was damaged during transportation to dealer and was then marked as totalled which I think makes sense since car belonged to dealer atm.
Any current owner bought said car and repaired damaged. Said car with clean title goes for 45k easy. It only has 1500 miles on it and the plastic bags are still on back seats and passenger.
I decided not to buy after checking carfax, it valued the car at 19k. But that was just what I convinced myself is the reason not to buy.
Why did I consider it? Its an Audi, the interior and tech is top class, the price is a steal.
Why I was hesitant...resale value (more likely to drive it to the ground if I'm being honest), fwd, performance.
It it happened to be rwd or awd I probably would have gotten it lol.
