You managed to do something that is really tough to pull off and you're enjoying your life, so congrats on being responsible/talented enough to figure it out. That being said, college is expensive (and is getting more so), but for most people it's the only way to either open up opportunities or figure out what they want to do. Plus with more and more people having degrees, most employers in a lot of fields won't even consider your resume without some extensive experience or recommendations, two things that are really hard to come by.

The number of people who know exactly what they want to do, how they want to do it, and have the drive to stick to a plan after high school is rare. And I would argue the same is true for some college grads. College is expensive, but it's a necessary investment for a lot of people.
