This is only approximate as I don't have an 86 (and probably won't any time soon), but I decided to get a quote out of my current insurance company;

27 yrs old

Toyota 86 GTS Auto
Premium ~$1,500 for daily use cover
Basic Excess of $500
(Currently have two policies with Shannons - 1 car, 1 House Contents insurance but at one point I had three cars comprehensively insured with them under my name at one time)

A bit expensive considering I have a flawless driving record. Maybe come time to buy one I'll need to do a bit of haggling.
