Speaking of bikes I think it's hilarious how we used to want more narrow tires for speed and lightweight, while it's totally opposite in the car world.

Yep, I found out the hard way, back at the OSU campus, that the lip for the old trolley rails, still imbedded in the streets, just fit the front wheel of my 10 speed bike ..... fit, like in a vice. ....... yep, I crashed ......
