Fuel was halfway between 1/4 tank and empty. Put 2 gallons in and now it's at the 1/4 tank mark and starting and running fine. That's the only change I made. Only verified everything else.
Can't be the gauge being slightly off could it? Maybe the float? I'm just throwing ish out right now that would make sense but I'm not totally convinced this is the cause.

Well, now, if your car is running fine ...... now that it has some gas ...
...... and it's not showing any codes ..... I would suggest you take it and fill up the tank and drive it.
If it runs through a tank of gas with no problems, you may be good to go.
About the gas gauge ...... it might be off. I would suggest you never let it get below a 1/4 tank.
