With tactrix just do a READ of ecu. After read is completed ecuflash will probably throw up a window saying unknown rom type.

Just save rom as srf or as a bin does not rearly matter as you can convert.

Tactrix wont let you write unless you make up a dummy def file for writing so no chance of harming ecu.

If you use save as function and save as a BIN file (it will thow another warning about lost data dont worry just click yes to save.

Then you will be able to read that bin file with romraider if its a K00G rom

If hour friend wants to write/tune his car i can convert the romraider def to a ecuflash def if you want
