The stock 86 is a very capable car. The fun is in learning to drive it well. It's more than enough for any rational use on the streets. Forget straight line speed and go play in the twistys. If you get bored with the car, you are a better driver than I will ever be. Then make decisions about what you want the car to do better.
I HATE the front end. Still have not decided what to do. There is/was a JDM custom that I can never remember the name of that looked like an Aston Martin or Jaguar front end. Want. Somebody must make something similar, but I've not found it yet. Everyone wants plastic-fantastic ugly aggression.
