With my lowered car I did scrape on the rear flange because for some reason the put a flange on the lowest part. The sound, imo, is amazing. A bit of drone but not bad for the overall great sound. How much was the car lowered for it to be an issue? I only intend on dropping 30mm (1.2"). The drowning is a bit of a worry as I will be removing the rear seats and installing the shrader performance delete kit, so just based on that, would probably lean towards the xforce. Also checked out the perrin and it does sound nice but only saved less than 2lb compared to the stock unit. Contacted Xforce for their weight; hopefully some good news.
Was looking at the Greddy Revolution RS 3" and that saves nearly 18lb. Happy to see that and it sounds pretty wicked. Only issue is it doesn't fit the Velox rear diffuser!!!
Are there any other 3" options out there?
