To me its more bang for buck.
That said I love this little car, my only real gripe with it was the cabin noise which I fixed the very first weekend wit ha full interior tear down and sound deadening install for the entire trunk, floor pan, rear wheel arches, doors, interior firewall and transmission tunnel.
Made a world of a difference.

Doing those modifications isn't so much about the numbers, but overall driving improvement.
If you compare a stock car to a car with those minor upgrades, it's a night & day difference.
The way the car responds throughout the rev range is what owners appreciate when doing those types of modification.
In fact, the best bang for you buck would be a stage 2 setup with supporting mods. (Tune, Header back exhaust)
SC Kit is not the best bang for your buck. One day for fun I did a break down on a HKS SC kit, with a custom tune and installation.
The price came out too $8000.00CDN....that's not a best bang for your buck. I could buy another car for that amount.
