However, to address your point above.. I live in an area that gets severe winter, along with beautiful versions of the other three seasons, because I LOVE winter... big time. I love snow and everything about it. I even love to shovel it. For me, it's not a question of "sucking it up" or being stuck in a job that requires me to live here. Heck, I'm pretty much retired... and I'm not moving to an "endless summer" beach burg ever. Don't get me wrong.. I love the ocean, snorkeling, scuba, would love to learn to surf... but please recognize that there are those of us who LOVE winter.

Sweet. Well, I "like" winter enough to say I enjoy visiting snow for 1-7 days at a time (need physical exercise to keep warm, skiing, hiking) , however to live in snow/ice year after year I know it would take a toll on me (physically). It's like the colder it is, the human body has ways to tack on extra fat during fall/winter, then it makes it difficult to lose that fat later. Even where I live currently it gets down to 18-32 degrees for the winter (no snow, but we could get black ice) , but summers are 90-105 typically. I prefer the temp between 40-75 (beach side) realistically speaking, and I enjoy the Spring and Fall seasons mostly (they seem to be shrinking in time the last 15-20 years… global warming…?)
