I think the quoting function is acting a little screwy... you, at least according to what I'm seeing, quoted my rant about selfishness/selfies then wrote the above. Not sure I see the connection.. but when I quoted you, it also quoted an unrelated post by Scrappydo.... soo it probably wasn't you.
However, to address your point above.. I live in an area that gets severe winter, along with beautiful versions of the other three seasons, because I LOVE winter... big time. I love snow and everything about it. I even love to shovel it. For me, it's not a question of "sucking it up" or being stuck in a job that requires me to live here. Heck, I'm pretty much retired... and I'm not moving to an "endless summer" beach burg ever. Don't get me wrong.. I love the ocean, snorkeling, scuba, would love to learn to surf... but please recognize that there are those of us who LOVE winter.
