I repeat. They are far better than they were in the past but they are still a poor choice for anyplace that actually gets winter. It isn't like the snow/winter tire tech as sat stagnant while the AS advanced. There are proper winter tires that function just as well on dry pavement as they do on snow as much as AS can work in the snow. Use the right tool to do the job.

So you actually have no idea how good DWS are on snow. I thought that must be the case. You just do not know what you're talking about.
You probably don't understand snow tire choices either.
Driving skills are the most important aspect of winter driving which you might understand if you had enough experience. I'd stick to what you know if I were you, assuming you know anything that might be of use to others.
