WRX STi is a model designation. There's a WRX tS, but the equivalent car for a WRX STi is the s207. Both tS and s207 see development and testing by STi, typically by their resident test driver on the Nurburgring.
It won't be equivalent because the us version wouldn't have had any of that. What I meant is that it would just be an accessories package out together by STi. The tS had those things, but also included a lot of incremental changes beneath the surface that people don't notice, including a stiffer rear subframe, stiffer mounts etc. I can guarantee these things would not make it over into the car.
