This was the battle I fought with the wife for her last 4 cars. She drives about 20 minutes to work and we use the car for the normal chores of life but she insisted on SUVs for the 3 or 4 times a year we would have the grandkids with us for a weekend.
I finally convinced her that a compact hatch was the way to go in the last purchase a month ago. She is overjoyed with the new car and I have broke the unneeded SUV cycle she was trapped in.
