The target demographic was the entry level sports car "enthusiast" and as such was not age based. The perception may be the under 30 crowd but that was not necessarily the target other than many of the entry level folks just happen to be that age. Didn't help the perception that it was badged as a Scion which did indeed target the under 30 group with all of their cars.
