I'm a 47 year old CPA. I audit real estate settlement agents and attorneys for a living. I drive a lightning red 2014 BRZ. I spend 150 nights a year in hotels and travel hundreds of miles per month in this car. It's actually more practical for solo work driving than a sedan would be.

I once pulled up to a client's office just as she was stepping out of her SUV. She said, "I wish I could afford a sports car like that!" She was getting out of a $50K Lexus.

I recently audited an attorney who works out of his home, so I had to park in front of his house. We spent five minutes talking about the car as I was leaving. He knew what it was and was considering buying one.

A couple of months ago I audited a husband/wife team of attorneys in their 60s. She drove a Porsche. He drove a Hellcat SRT Charger. They had relegated their SRT6 Crossfire to use as the company car for their runner. So unprofessional! We followed her to lunch, and she laid rubber on the road pulling out of their parking lot.

The only way this car becomes unprofessional is if you mod the shit out of it with giant wings, ridiculous camber and a stupid paint job with dumbass decals and stickers. Otherwise it's just like driving any other sports car, except that it's a little less expensive.
