I don't understand why everyone is getting upset about people wanting 250-300 hp versions. They showed the FT86 G Sports concept which was fitted with a turbo so I don't see why it's unreasonable for people to ask/hope for a higher powered turbo option. If you want your base model for $20k good, but I think Toyota would be making a mistake to not offer a higher hp OPTIONAL version for around $30k or so.

This way they could satisfy those who want the 200hp (or whatever it ends up being) n/a version and those who want more power with a turbo. I personally will have to seriously consider purchasing this if the price isn't low 20s and only has 200hp.

This is just my opinion on the matter, but I know i'm not the only one who thinks that way. The majority of the members here are not of this mind, but if they want to try and appeal to a larger demographic it would be a good idea to offer these different options.

Edit: And to those who will say then go after-market, some people prefer to have factory warranty and reliability with their vehicles.
