This is the main reason I am in the middle of an LS swap. I was at a point where, I would need to build the motor for about $10k (from a reputable shop aka FullBlown), plus strengthen/swap the transmission ($4K+) and still have the potential of the sensitive finicky cam gearing/phasing system/ECU fuck up at any time... My FA20 treated me good as it held 500+ whp and 450+ wtq, but even built I would never feel at peace knowing an issue like this could pop up anytime for no reason.

Well I swapped out the ecu, but my motor did fail a few months after. I don't know what caused the motor to fail.
