Also live in SoCal, Newport area to be precise. Car and everything was fine last Friday.. Didn't drive at all during the weekend when the cold front came in. Checked my car Sunday night and the battery was completely dead (no lights, and unable to key "on"). I tried using my portable jump starter and that didn't work, instructions said the battery had to be atleast 50% apparently in order to jump ![Thumbdown](images/smilies/thumbdown.gif)

The BRZ has a little power draw all the time, if you leave it for a week it will have a hard time starting on that little battery.
If its parked in a garage and you know you arent going to be using it connect up a trickle charger...no problem then. Hell ive killed mine 2 times over winter(i dont drive at all in winter) and a trickle charger has always brought it back to life.....one time i had to connect my stock car battery up for 30 minutes, then the trickle charger....voltage was too low even for the trickle charger after leaving it for 3 months over winter.
