Shitty tires, brakes, and drivers with poor visibility (burnt out lights, dirty windows, dead wipers, etc.) are my biggest concern, keep a safe following distance and be aware of what's around you. No different than you should have been driving before, I doubt you'll notice any difference other than a couple bucks in your pocket and a free afternoon every year or whatever.

I have been hit by one that flew off a car from a state with no inspections. I have seen dozens of pieces fly off. Have you ever drive through Michigan? You will see a part fly off if you drive enough there. The closer to Detroit or Flint the more parts you will see.
