I do feel the need to push the gas pedal down a little further when leaving from a stop if I am driving calmly. I do not know why this is but i also can feel more pull from the car once it gets going. If you get a tune that works better on this gas let me know.
I thought the same thing too, but according to everyone on the How to run e85 thread, most stations will be closer to 70%, some even less, specially for winter. The Shell I have by my house says "minimum 70% ethanol," but when I mentioned this on the other thread, everyone said it says that but their flex fuel sensors sometimes show less or more.

I didn't get any strange noise on the 93 tune. I even flashed back after three tanks of e85 to make sure it wasn't just in my head, noise-wise and sluggish driving-wise and no, the 93 tune is quiet and smooth. After two months of 93 I'm back on e85 and I feel the sluggishness as well as the extra loud throttle sound between 2500-3200 rpm.

Will let you know if I get any tweaks from the other thread.

The throttle definitely has a dead spot, and I'm sure that's contributing to the struggle to get going. Last night it took a few seconds to back out of the parking at work.. it was pretty sad lol. Since it's on an incline, the car felt like it had no power to get back onto the even surface... -_- I tried giving it more gas each time, and could hear the engine winding louder, but the car wouldn't move and would roll back to the bottom of the incline as soon as I backed off the throttle just a bit. It wasnt until I gave it more throttle than needed, and modulated the clutch, that I got going. I just recently got an air inlet tube, but that's all the aftermarket I have and feels the same as when I was on stock for three tanks earlier this year.

I feel like the mapping on the 93 tune is much better than on the E85. Feels nice and progressive with more response. As you can see, the 85 tune seems to have a dead spot right when you start pressing the throttle, the rest of it, to me, doesn't feel as good as the 93 tune, but you should read what others have to say in the How to Run E85 on a stock 86/FRS/BRZ thread, since it seems I'm the one having issues.
