By the way, AAA in California is terrible. Someone hit me and I didn't feel like AAA cared. Tough to get them on the phone, they did nothing to fight the lady who hit me, and their estimate of the damage was ridiculously low. TL;DR - AAA sucks!

Sounds better than my Geico experience. My insurer paid and went after them for the money. I don't know how they're allowed to operate as they do.
I could lower rates a little but am not interested in changing companies based on the service... never been at fault, and they've been the ones to do the legwork in all but one case. I'm with Amica. I think we pay just shy of $1500 for two cars annually, but also with us being older and discounts for multi-vehicle and homeowners policy with them. That's with not driving to work and garaged cars, but in the city. And it's been going up every year on the BRZ because of the demographic... Bad drivers in the car makes us all pay.
