I just tested flooring the throttle while rolling at 30mph (at 3000rpm approx), and then moderatly pressing the brake, and like you, no fuel cut. And I kept all stability control fully active.
That's strange, I'm sure I read it in the manual or something.
Maybe it's only when you press the brake really hard, like in an emergency situation.
Anyway I'm kinda glad, less nannies make me happy
