My drivetrain mods are the same as strat's, as I'm sure most people's are in street. Similar to what strat said, I don't have any clicking when engaging the ebrake. It's always under power at walking speeds in 1st and 2nd.
Enough people seem to have had success with the axle nut replacement that it seemed worthwhile trying. I'd rather jump into a $9 repair, then having a shop charge me to check/tighten my ebrake, or spend $700 on axles when I might not need to.

Yeah, if it's under power, it's an axle or nut issue. Good luck, hope the nut is the fix!
