So that also goes for the automatic MY17 twins as well? The only major differences (publicly known) that the MY17s for both 86 and BRZ have are the intake manifold (red) and the intake airbox/tubes.
If anyone can confirm that the autos 17 utilize the same units as previous year models, that'd be INCREDIBLE for R&D building for these new models.
