I think since it already has a polished finish I'm going to first try buffing it out some with white rouge and a cloth buffing wheel before finishing with a metal polish. If I don't like the results then I'll go probably 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grits before the rouge and metal polish. I accomplished the latter with the Mishimoto aluminum fan shroud and there was a noticeable difference between the out-of-the-box polished finish and the finish I gave it.
I hope to have it installed this weekend!
